Busselton Jetty
In the weekend of the 5th of February a Fiesta is planned to celebrate the re-opening of the iconic Busselton Jetty. Extending almost two kilometres out over Geographe Bay, the heritage listed Busselton Jetty Experience is the longest timber-piled jetty (pier) in the Southern Hemisphere.

Beaches
Striking white sand and crystal clear blue water. The South West Coast of WA is renowned for its beautiful beaches. Visitors travel here for the calm, sheltered bays but also for the world-class surfing conditions at known Margaret River surf beaches like Prevelly Park.

Food and Wine
The Margaret River Wine Region is a wonderland of quality wineries and unique gourmet food producers all intricately connected by winding country roads. Then there’s the cafes and restaurants that provide a perfect showcase for their talent. Several day’s worth of exploring here.

Whale Watching
Between June and September, Humpback and Southern Right Whales settle in the warm waters of Geographe Bay for breeding before migrating south again for summer feeding. Spot them from the shore or join a cruise for close encounters with our giant mammals.

Family Fun
Children are not forgotten with plenty of local attractions built specially with their little imaginations in mind. Visit the Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory and train ride, Amaze n Margaret River, Simmo’s Icecream, archery, mini golf, Country Life Farm and if you dare, the Margaret River Chocolate Company, just to name a few.

Shopping and Galleries
The Margaret River Wine Region is home to a talented and eclectic community of locals artisans. See their work at a myriad of private home-based displays or in up-market galleries. Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River provide exciting shopping for fashion, homewares, antique and collectible enthusiasts.

Caves
Busselton is famous for its network of deep underground caves. Join a tour or visit the interpretive centres to discover their ancient secrets and see the stunning stalactite, stalagmite, helicitite and shawl formations.

Walks and Trails
For a more intimate encounter with the South West Coast’s natural wonders, hike the network of walks and trails. See the carpets of wildflowers, stand aloft coastal lookouts and spot the whales, or discover tranquil bushland habitats and their native characters.

Scenic Drives
Our Margaret River Wine Region is blessed with the most spectacular scenery. Its best enjoyed by car along the many scenic drives. High on your list should be the Boranup Drive which winds through the grand and imposing Karri Forest.

Diving and Shipwrecks
Clear blue waters and abundant sea life provide divers of every capability with lots to explore. At just 9m, the Busselton Jetty is visually splendid. Or tackle the HMAS Swan Shipwreck, located a short distance off the coast between Dunsborough and Eagle Bay.

Fishing
Our South West Coast is famed for its fishing. Beach, jetty, rock, river or boat, there’s something for everyone. You can even jump on a charter, try Legend Charters.

Museums
Step back in time and discover the history of our local towns at the collection of museums on offer. Fascinating displays of artefacts, photographs and books to delight all ages.
